further to my glimspe of Hell

Here's a poem to prove that creative things emerge from disaster - please feel free to tell me what you think of the poem, and look at the posts again.
Glimpse of Hell
The blueberry muffins took pride of place
in my food-themed blog.
I penned my words as the muffins cooked,
raving about the taste I’d licked
from spoon and bowl as the smell
crept from oven warmth
The blueberry muffins were going to be
supper, breakfast, lunch
for family for the rest of the week.
I’d take a photo and make
readers salivate over my lovely
picture and clever words.
I had to go out, shopping to do, so
I put out the dogs and left - shopping
done at almost a run as my tummy
started to growl. Home again, unknowing,
I opened the door. Smoke and stench killed
my hunger and I gingerly approached the oven.
