Muffins again, I'm afraid
November 7th 2008 23:32
Yes, I'm down to the last muffin from my latest batch. They were Blueberry muesli muffins, with extra fibre. Very nice, and I didn't take any pictures - they look pretty much like the other good ones - no fires of Hell this time.
The extra fibre was from psyllium husks - an easy way to add fibre to baked goods. Very simple, and good for you too. I keep muffins in the freezer for easy snacks for the three of us in the house - husband, son and me.
For tea last night we had, well not much really, meat patties and sausages. But we had potato and onion pastry things my husband makes. They had cheese and bacon and various other things in them. Very nice. It's nice that I'm not the only cook in the house.
My teenage son is able to feed himself too, but he doesn't get too carried away - trickier cooking is what I do.
